I used a template from Crafter's Workshop and shimmer paints for the bricks. The blue letters are Basic Grey and the letters for "Garden" are American Crafts.

The butterfly was fussy cut from Posy Patch paper.

More Posy Patch stamps and dies. The strip with the purple flowers is from Raindrops On Roses. The stamp script is from Large Elegant Word.

cousins

I appreciate all of my design team experiences. I love working with unique products, styles, and I'm always learning something new. I also enjoy my breaks. I'm not serving on any teams right now so that leaves all my scrapping time to explore challenges from all over the web! The following layout is for the May MME Sketch Challenge and for a product challenge at A Cherry On Top. Between these two challenges, I got to rethink a sketch to fit my photos and I pulled out some product that has been patiently waiting for me on my shelves.

The papers are from Lil' Robots- a delightful concoction of little boy colors and patterns. The colorful diamond sticker thing up in the corner is from Lime Twist. The "memories" sticker is from Indie Chic and the buttons are from Boy Crazy. The chipboard banner pieces are also from Boy Crazy. The arrow stickers are from Collectable, the title sticker is from So Sophie, and the # stamp is a MME stamp. The circular piece with a 4 in the middle is from Indie Chic. The film tape is from Queen and Co.

lucky me

This layout started with a homemade kit, then a sketch, and then pictures. In fact, I didn't even think about pictures until I was halfway through the layout. I'm kooky like that.

The papers are from Random by Crate Paper, Restoration by Crate Paper, and Bric a Brac by Scribble Scrabble. The black photo corner was punched from Arsenic and Lace by Bazzill. The clear ledger piece is Maya Road, the brad is from Kaiserkraft, and the two stickers are from Echo Park. The corrugated "me" is Jillibean Soup. "Family" is a stamp by Heidi Swapp and the heart buttons are by Heidi Grace for Colorbok. "2013" stickers are Basic Grey.

This is what I love about putting together my own kits and shopping from my own stash. What a great little pot of random bits to play with!

I love to bake

I received a RAK just yesterday from my sweet friend Wendy. It took me nearly an hour to unpack the box! First thing today, I made a layout just using the awesome scraps. I knew if I packed away the scraps I would forget about them.

I started with the current sketch at the Paper Secrets Blog. Their store is looking really good these days! I'm not sure what all of these papers are. I do know some it is Studio Calico and Echo Park. Other that, I dunno. The black arrows are Bella Blvd, the journaling spot is trimmed from Simple Stories paper, and "Happy" is a little bit that I had sitting on my table by Crate Paper. The black corner was punched from a Halloween collection by Bazzill.

This layout is also for a challenge over at Scrapbook Nerd. Like most scrappers, I'm not usually interested in scrapping about myself. However, it is a good time to reflect on all the hobbies in my life that make me happy.
